3.3.3 Information Technology Resources Strategy (ITRS)
The ITRS of the SAPS is the responsibility of Information and Systems Management (ISM). The ITRS is primarily constituted by the responsibilities prescribed in terms of the Public Service Regulations, and is delegated by the National Commissioner of the SAPS, as Departmental Head, to the Head of ISM. These plans should direct ISM’s service delivery towards police stations.
The current ISM Strategic Framework is a framework of intent to direct the development and implementation of the strategic Information and Technology Plan (ITP).
