A Collapsible RBC

I've found Roger Bernard's Reflective Open Box Cooker to be a very powerful little cooker. Four days away from the winter's solstice, and it's handily dispatching a whole jar of beans (24 oz liquid). The RBC is an obvious candidate to be made into a collapsible unit. Probably someone else has done this already, but just in case, here's one version. I can also see how it would be very easy to design an origamic collapsible unit -- maybe I'll do that later if there is any interest.

The collapsed unit.

Unit spread out so that you can see the tabs. Insert the top reflector into bottom reflector, aligning the tabs. Bend the tabs under so that when a cooking vessel is placed in the RBC the tabs will be locked down.

The assembled unit. Note: The cooking bag has been removed for purposes of illustration. The jar sits on top of a cardboard trivot

Here's a trick. I run a piece of twine underneath the unit between the front and back of the horizontal reflector. This puts tension on the front flap causing it to stay down after wind gusts. Just insert a rock beneath the front reflector to adjust the angle.
